Hello everyone!!
Sorry I have not been blogging or posting recently,
unfortunately I have been dealing with yet more migraines
and therefore have had to avoid using my laptop as much a possible.
But I am back today with my first Guest Designer post for
Challenge 168 - Pastel/Spring colours
Yeah, yeah I know the migraines have mushed my brains as this little chap is a Christmas Elf!!
But hey, he's moonlighting for UPS whilst Santa is resting, and he co-ordinates quite nicely with the crocus that are currently blooming in my garden!
Now I had great fun colouring this image as I got to play with some Stamping Linen.............oh I like this product! A big thank you to my dear friend Tracy Payne for introducing me to this stuff - I really like the effect you get............but please be aware that you cannot blend your markers as well as you can with your normal cardstock.....hence I used my coloured pencils in addition to my Copics.
I stamped him on the linen with a pale brown ink inorder to get a soft look overall
What do you think?

So sorry to hear you've been having migraine troubles again Jane. Been missing you. :-) Your coloring on the linen is wonderful and who cares if it's an elf. Parts of the US have been getting tons of snow so you know the North Pole has too. Santa can't be a procrastinator all year so I'm sure those elves are busy busy. :-) Hope you feel better soon. Hugs!

Oh, oh, oh, been waiting for this. You've done a great job Jane and I find the copics combined with the pencils is so far the best recipe but doesn't it look fab and even better in real life. Love, love your Elf and you can never be too early for Christmas. I am doing a winter/christmas card a month this year.
Hugs Tracy x
