Card - Doodle Dragon Studio Challenge |
Ok - admit it, who's actually tried this? And before you ask - no I haven't!!!
And as with my previous entry I've tried to keep it simple - letting the image stand out instead of smothering it in bling. And on this occasion I was even organised enough to choose the background paper first enabling me to match the dragon & cardstock - impressed? Well I am - I'm usually in far too much of a hurry to play with my Copics & improve my technique to worry about the card side of things. It's not until I have a finished image that I'm pulling my hair out searching my stash (and I have alot of papers - just ask my hubby) to match the Copics I've used - you'd think I'd learn, but I just adore the colouring side so much when I've finished one image I want to start on another........
Talking of Copics I'm on a roll - this "pink box system" seems to be working as yet again I have the piccy:
Image: Dustin Pike digi
Paper: Basic Grey Origins
Colouring: Copics & Prismacolor blended with Zest-it
Additional: Ribbon & card from stash
Good luck to everyone that's entered & keep the images coming Dustin - love them!!

Impressive coloring! I am also a Copic lover and you did a wonderful job!! Keeping cards simple can be difficult (at least for me). Perfect in every way! Thank you for joining us at DDS, we appreciate you!
OK, umm...were you really asking like FOR REAL? Cos ummm..yeah.... BUT! I was real little! lol And if you take your tongue away real quick it doesn't actually stick too hard. But you know I get better "stickability" with my fingers on the metal edges inside our feezer. I swear I'm missing some fingerprints, what with cold metal and scortape what chance does a girl have??
Awesome card!
Wow!!!... I love your coloring... I have some of your same issues when it comes to planning... I'd rather color than plan any day! Your card is sensational!
Ouch! I know that's gotta hurt!! Your card is beautifully done and your coloring is awesome!! I have enjoyed looking at your blog and have become a follower.
hugs, sue
Your colouring is fantastic Jane.
I've learnt form this post that if you keep the image simple you can use a strong background paper.
The image and the paper just look so right together.
Wish I had you eye for colours.
Thanks for stopping by my blog Jane. I love your cards and have had so much fun looking through your blog, beautiful coloring. I too color and then search for papers LOL, isn't that half the challenge?
